Trona: A Playground for Light

Located on the southern end of Searles Lake, the Trona Pinnacles are one of my favorite regular stops on my way to the Southwest. Although a bit out of the way, they make for an awesome stop (and campsite) on one of several routes to Death Valley NP. I really enjoyed shooting this landscape in the variety of conditions I witnessed. I’m sure I’ll wander back to these in a later post about their amazing geologic origins…
