I won’t often be writing a description or explanation of a set of photos, I like the images to tell the story. This day at Goblin Valley State Park in Utah needs a little introduction, as it is one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve watched in a long time. Basically, the sunlight was shining through a window in the clouds behind me, only illuminating the foreground. As the sun set that window of light moved from the foreground to the background, while never touching both at the same time. When the light reached the storm clouds above and behind, the light shifted towards the red end of the spectrum, and the sky caught fire.
